Why edit a custom characteristic on an element?

You can edit a custom characteristic on an element when you want to update its value for the selected element.

How do I edit a custom characteristic on an element?

To edit a custom characteristic on an element, simply:

  1. Click on "Elements"

  2. Filter for the element

  3. Click on "Characteristics"

  4. Fill in the custom characteristic under "Custom data"

  5. Click on "Confirm"

Note: you can see the number of changes made in parentheses on the "Confirm" button before validating. Changes made appear in the Activity log in the element's viewing panel.

How do I edit a custom characteristic on several elements?

To edit a custom characteristic on several elements, simply:

  1. Click on "Elements"

  2. Filter the elements

  3. Select the elements to edit using the 🔲 icon
    ​Note: to select all elements (across all pages), click directly on the 🔲 icon below "Bulk actions."

  4. Click on "Bulk actions"

  5. Click on "Edit a custom characteristic"

  6. Select the characteristic under "Custom characteristic to edit"

  7. Fill in the new value

  8. Click on "Edit"
