Why assign a document to an element?

You can assign a document to one or several elements when you want to document your element.

How do I assign a document to an element?

To assign a document to an element, simply:

  1. Click on "Elements"

  2. Filter for the element

  3. Click on the element

  4. Click on "Add"

  5. Assign the document, two options:

    1. New document:

      1. Adding a document with a file:

        1. Select files, or drag and drop files

      2. Adding a document without a file:

        1. Fill in the document's characteristics

        2. Click on "Create and link"

    2. Existing document:

      1. Enter the document name

      2. Select the document

      3. Click on "Link"

How do I assign a document to several elements?

To assign a document to several elements, simply:

  1. Click on "Elements"

  2. Filter the elements

  3. Select the elements using the 🔲 icon
    ​Note: to select all elements (across all pages), click directly on the 🔲 icon below "Bulk actions."

  4. Click on "Bulk actions"

  5. Click on "Assign a document"

  6. Assign the document, two options:

    1. New document:

      1. Adding a document with a file:

        1. Select files, or drag and drop files

      2. Adding a document without a file:

        1. Fill in the document's characteristics

        2. Click on "Create and link"

    2. Existing document:

      1. Enter the document name

      2. Select the document

      3. Click on "Link"
